About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café and Ice Cream Supervisor to lead our Café and Ice Cream Parlour operations. In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the Café and Ice Cream Parlour, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding customer experiences, and a positive team culture. You'll inspire and develop your team, maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety, and drive sales and service excellence in line with company goals.

Key Responsibilities and Job Description
* Leadership & Team Development
* Supervise, manage, and motivate café team members.
* Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to support colleague performance.
* Recognise and celebrate team achievements.
* Create and update risk assessment.
* Operations & Customer Service
* Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing duties, stock control, and scheduling.
* Ensure smooth service delivery and consistently high customer satisfaction
* Create a rota according to the daily workload and activity in the park.
* Lead by example, creating a positive customer-first culture.
* Food Safety & Compliance
* Maintain full compliance with all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
* Deliver and support training to embed safety standards across the team.
* Monitor hygiene practices and ensure the Café and Ice cream Parlour meets all legal requirements.
* Sales & Business Performance
* Drive sales by ensuring efficient staffing and excellent service delivery.
* Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance targets, reporting to senior management.
* Identify opportunities for innovation, service improvements, and customer offers.
* Brand & Culture
* Promote company values by fostering an inclusive, respectful, and safe workplace.
* Maintain a strong brand presence through consistency and professionalism.
* Act as the link between customers, colleagues, and wider business teams.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 2 years' management experience in hospitality or catering.
* Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene: Strong knowledge of food & beverage service, Health & Safety, and Food Safety.
* Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
* A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Ambitious, motivated, hands on and adaptable, with a drive to improve and innovate.
* First aid trained would be preferred, but training will be given.
* Employment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check
Pay Rate
* £14 per hour
Contracted hours
* Average of 30 hours a week (more in season).
* Working weekends, weekdays and school holidays
* Occasional evening events.
