Job Description

As Senior Engineer - Spa Facilities, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities
As Senior Engineer - Spa Facilities, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

* Ensure full competency in L8 compliance, water testing, and the maintenance of new equipment in the Wellness Center.
* Facilitate contract visits within the wellness area.
* Perform daily inspections of all wellness equipment.
* Complete scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
* Ensure all compliance services are consistently carried out.
* Support efforts to continuously evaluate and improve products and services to stay relevant, innovative, and aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
* Assist in the management, maintenance, and repair of all Fire Life Safety systems as part of daily operations.
* Help with fulfilling guest requests and providing support to all operational departments as needed, under the direction of the Director of Technical Services, Chief Engineer, and/or Assistant Chief Engineer.
* Collaborate with the Wellness Director in day-to-day operations.
* Manage the logistics of coordinating outside vendors for the servicing and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Senior Engineer - Spa Facilities, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

* High school diploma or equivalent in engineering and at least 2 year experience in a similar setting.
* Technical skills include the ability to analyse and design projects, conduct investigations and maintaining full knowledge of engineering-related products and services used in property.
* A Pool Plant Operator Level 3 certification and a strong understanding of COSHH regulations.
* Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
