Meeting and Events Coordinator
Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and have a knack for organisation? Our client, a well-established hotel, is looking for a dynamic Meetings & Events Coordinator to join its busy events office. This is a full-time, on-site role.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for many guests planning events, youll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service. Youll handle enquiries for meetings, conferences, and private functions, ensuring every detail is tailored to the clients needs. From initial contact to final execution, youll be involved in every step of the booking process.
This role involves both reactive and proactive sales, so confidence in communication and a passion for hospitality are key. Youll also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and unforgettable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Manage enquiries and bookings for meetings and events across hotel outlets
Maintain accurate records using event management software
Communicate client requirements clearly to operational teams
Maximise revenue by identifying and filling booking gaps
Handle accommodation bookings alongside event coordination
Attend regular meetings to align with other departments
Conduct site tours for prospective clients
Ensure all communications meet internal quality standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
What Were Looking For
6 months plus experience in a similar role within hospitality or events
Confident in both inbound and outbound sales
Strong IT and admin skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Excellent attention to detail
