The BT group operates a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.


The Scope


The Associate Product Manager, Broadband Development will drive the growth of BT's market-leading broadband portfolio by developing new features and enhancements that meet diverse customer needs. You will support strategy execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of capabilities.

Through analysis, documentation, and close collaboration with engineering and stakeholders, you'll enable successful product launches and continuous improvement.


What you'll be doing


Deliver new broadband features and enhancements on time and within budget, supporting product launches and strategy execution.

Manage and prioritise the product backlog, writing clear user stories and specifications in line with Agile practices.

Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, legal, analytics) to ensure successful delivery.

Analyse customer behaviour and feedback to inform product improvements and future releases.

Produce essential product documentation, including feature sheets and user guides.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product development efficiency.


Experience needed to be successful in the role


Previous experience in product development or product management, ideally within a B2B technology or telecoms environment.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including experience of backlog prioritisation and writing user stories.

Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders such as sales, marketing, legal, and analytics.

Strong analytical skills, using data and customer insights to inform decisions and improve products.

An understanding of broadband technologies or a willingness to develop technical knowledge.

Experience in project management, go-to-market or propositions management would be advantageous.
