The Role
This newly created position places you at the centre of a high-impact NHS delivery service, ensuring patients move through assessment pathways smoothly, safely and without delay.
You’ll bring pace, structure and empathy to a complex and evolving service — leading multidisciplinary teams, resolving escalations and driving performance improvements that truly matter.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Full operational leadership of NHS assessment pathways
* Service performance planning and delivery with internal and external stakeholders
* Safeguarding and escalation oversight, including complaints and incidents
* Data-driven improvement across patient journey and capacity management
* Management, coaching and development of supervisors and operational teams
Who You Are
A confident and compassionate operator who’s comfortable balancing service performance with clinical governance.
You’ll succeed here if you:
* Have NHS or regulated healthcare operational experience
* Stay calm and pragmatic when navigating complexityLead with empathy and accountability
* Love using data to solve problems and forecast demand
* Experience working with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) or NHS-funded pathways? Even better!
