What You'll Do:
As Deputy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the daily operations of our supported living services. You'll lead and inspire a team of support staff, ensuring outstanding care and support in line with regulatory standards (CQC/CIW). We offer autonomy and responsibility to make a difference while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead by Example: Manage, inspire, and motivate support workers, creating a positive, inclusive work culture where everyone thrives.
2. Service Coordination: Oversee daily operations, ensuring person-centred care and compliance with CQC/CIW regulations.
3. Rota Management: Handle scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels, maintaining flexibility and efficiency.
4. Quality Control: Conduct audits and assessments to uphold high standards and foster continuous improvement.
5. Supportive Leadership: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance, supporting team growth, crisis management, safeguarding, and delivery of support plans.

Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing and leading a team
* Ability to deliver high standards of person-centred care and support
* Support the Home Manager in achieving financial targets
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company standards
* Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site travel
