Teacher of Humanities - (RE & History)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Pay range:MPS1-UPS3 £31,650 - £49,084
We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Humanities (Religious Education and History) who holds high expectations for both their students and themselves. The successful candidate will inspire learners of all abilities through their enthusiasm and commitment to the subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high expectations to ensure all students achieve their full educational potential.
* Set challenging and relevant teaching and learning objectives tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
* Employ a variety of assessment methods, including questioning, oral assessment, self-assessment, and formative assessment to monitor student progress.
* Use effective assessment, monitoring, and recording strategies to identify learning needs, set ambitious targets, and inform future planning.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised equivalent).
* Degree in a relevant subject specialism.
* Proven ability to deliver ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ lessons.
* Demonstrable success in improving student outcomes.
