Overview
This is about helping to run a £multi-million store, while motivating and developing a diverse and talented team. One day could involve assisting the Store Manager with deliveries, placing orders or handling customer queries. The next day may focus on people management and performance or organising holiday rotas for the team. You will help to maximise sales, deliver great customer service, minimise costs and optimise operational efficiency, and you’ll be prepared to step into the Store Manager’s shoes in their absence.

Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with deliveries, orders and customer queries
* Focus on people management and performance
* Organise holiday rotas and staffing requirements
* Help maximise sales, ensure great customer service, minimise costs and improve operational efficiency
* Be prepared to step into the Store Manager’s role when required
Qualifications
* An experienced people-manager
* Used to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environment
* Skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency
* Motivated to consistently achieve targets

* Flexible 40 or 45-hour contracts. You’ll usually work over 5 days, but you can work a 40-hour contract over 4 days if it helps

*Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. Aldi are also able to offer 32, 36 and 40 hour contracts, and in these instances the salary offered would be pro-rated.
