Investment Operations Administrator

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.

We are looking for individuals who wish to grow with us in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working options. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and benefits.

The role is a core function within the Investments Operations Team, focusing on client maintenance, cash position monitoring for client accounts (excluding AFH Direct), and supporting medium risk queries.


Key Responsibilities

* Ensure client requests are processed accurately within SLA
* Assist with deceased accounts and death claims
* Respond to telephone and email queries, escalating when necessary
* Develop new methods to improve efficiency
* Update model portfolios on provider platforms
* Perform cash reporting for various providers (excluding AFH Direct)
* Process Bed and ISA transactions on different platforms
* Act as a point of contact for consultants and team members
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date data
* Ensure all instructions and transactions are fully documented for audit purposes
* Manage diary and record-keeping to ensure compliance standards
* Understand and adhere to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles
* Comply with AFH procedures on AML, data security, and confidentiality
* Support reporting staff during absences and tax year-end
* Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management


Ideal Candidate

* Knowledge of the Financial Services Market and Investment Products
* Understanding of operational procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience with Pershing's Nexus, XPlan, and Nexus Complete preferred
* Awareness of TCF Principles and GDPR
