Role Purpose
This role is to support the growth of the business by;
· Being the point of contact between our property owners, short-term guests and long-term tenants within our Property Management business.
· Taking full responsibility for our Managed Properties, ensuring properties meet our quality standards, comply with regulations and exceed the expectations of our guests, tenants and property owners.
· Increasing business revenue via maximisation of occupancy and minimising void periods within both long term and short term let properties.
· Seeking out and building opportunities to bring new properties under management.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
You are the main point of contact for all Property Owner Clients, Guests and Tenants, taking full responsibility for our managed portfolio.
Residential Property Management
· Taking full responsibility for our managed portfolio of residential long-term let properties.
· Managing the advertising process for properties to let.
· Undertaking viewings and managing property enquiries with assistance from the Operations Administrator.
· Managing the set-up of new lets incl. the referencing process and serving documentation including compliance certificates and tenancy agreements to applicants and keeping company records organised and up-to-date.
· Assisting with the development and upkeep of company systems and processes.
Short-stay Property Management
· Support and engage with clients (short-term let guests) and property owners to ensure a 5* service is delivered at all times.
· Support operational areas of the business and resolving any issues as requested.
· Day to day tasks will include – liaising with landlords and clients / guests, managing reviews, listing price management, guest communication (via Operations Assistant where applicable), management of cleaners to deliver high standards of housekeeping.
· Managing the fit-out of new properties in conjunction with interiors team or contractors. Providing quotations to property owners and managing the set-up of properties.
General Property and Business Management
· Providing Owner Statements and managing relationships with all property owners across our portfolio.
· Line management of our Operations Assistant to deliver targets and role / responsibility growth.
· Undertaking mid-term property inspections to ensure the properties are well maintained by tenants and owners.
· Co-ordination of maintenance requirements across the managed portfolio.
· Increasing awareness of our brand through networking events, letter dropping and business development activities to help scale up our managed property portfolio (generous incentives offered).
· Other project work and tasks that are requested by your line manager.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
· Previous experience in a lettings and property management (customer / client facing)
· Ability to find new clients and sell services.
· Communicating with stakeholders and customers at all levels.
· People-management skills and experience of resolving conflicts.
· Strong IT skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
· Ability to accurately produce documents with attention to detail.
· Ability to manage own workload and generate own work independently.
· Working with business processes and systems.
· Excellent people management and communication skills.
· Excellent command of English language and written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience & Skills
· Relevant Property Industry Qualifications (e.g. PropertyMark, CIH)
· Experience within the hospitality / short-term let property industry.
· Previous use of systems / software incl. Hostaway, Airtable.
· Previous use of Airbnb,, VRBO, other Online Travel Agent platforms (OTA's).
General
A performance review will be held after 3 months.
Use of the Smart phone / softphone IOS applications where required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
