With over 1,000 dedicated Home Carers, Enablement Workers, Care at Home staff and Managers relying on us to deliver essential learning, we’re looking for someone passionate, creative, and motivated to take on this rewarding role. You’ll be part of a supportive team of 6 experienced Training Officers and 2 Social Work Assistants, developing and delivering mandatory and optional training across Fife, helping to enhance the quality-of-care delivery through learning. This is more than just a training job—it's your chance to coach, mentor, inspire, and influence care delivery across the service. The Person Deliver engaging face-to-face and online training sessions Facilitate practical and theory-based sessions (including Moving & Handling, Dementia Awareness, Personal Outcomes, full comprehensive Inductions and lots more) Coach staff through learning, using a mix of group activities, e- Learning, 1:1 mentoring and real-life scenarios Complete relevant trainer qualifications (Train the Trainer, M&H Key Trainer, Link Worker, etc.) Design creative training materials, handouts, e- Learning, and workbooks Evaluate learner competency, provide feedback and adapt content based on service needs Work closely with Learning & Development teams and Care at Home management to ensure training is aligned with strategic goals and statutory requirements Work in close collaboration with the Moving & Handling team to deliver essential training, ensuring all staff remain up to date in accordance with current legislation, health and safety regulations, and best practice guidelines. Stay ahead of best practice, SSSC standards, and legislation What We Are Looking For Passion for adult learning and improving care services Experience in social care or health (SVQ3 or equivalent required) A relevant training qualification (A1 Assessor, Teaching Cert, etc.) Ability to travel across Fife (we bring the training to the staff!) Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills Team player with creativity, humour and flexibility Confidence to deliver to groups of all sizes and backgrounds Commitment to ongoing professional development Complete a suite of recognised training qualifications with our support Be a visible ambassador for training and quality care Help shape the training of tomorrow Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
