Creative Marketing Lead: Mobile App agency

Miri is a creative performance marketing agency specialising in user acquisition and creative strategy for leading mobile apps and games. We act as an extension of our clients’ marketing and creative teams, putting creative front and centre to deliver through smart, data-driven advertising.

From creative strategy and production to campaign optimisation, we manage the full process across Meta, TikTok, Google, ASA and leading ad networks. We are a collaborative team of creative strategists, performance marketers and graphic / motion designers.


About the Role

We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Lead to lead client relationships, drive creative direction and manage a high-performing team of creative marketers. You’ll act as the senior creative partner for clients and the agency: translating business goals into bold, performance-driven strategies while ensuring every piece of output meets the highest standard.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy and commercial thinking. You’ll mentor and line-manage the creative team, collaborate closely with design and performance marketing and work alongside the Agency Director to shape the future of the agency. An ideal next step for an experienced creative marketer ready to take ownership at the highest level.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

* Line-manage and develop a team of creative marketers, championing their progression and performance
* Manage budgets, project performance and profitability, ensuring accounts are delivered on scope and on time
* Ensure all output aligns with client expectations and agency standards
* Foster a collaborative environment where creative excellence and commercial impact are equally valued
* Stay ahead of platform trends and channel-native formats across Meta, TikTok, Google and ASA, bringing insights to the team and clients

Client Leadership:

* Act as a senior point of contact for creative accounts and oversee strategy.
* Act as the key creative partner for clients, ensuring output is perfectly aligned with their performance needs
* Break down business goals into creative targets and benchmarks, defining what success looks like
* Manage budgets, profitability, and resource allocation across accounts
* Jump into accounts when capacity is tight or strategic expertise is needed

Commercial Growth:

* Partner with sales to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and support revenue expansion
* Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts based on creative performance insights

Requirements and Skills

* 5+ years of experience in creative marketing and account management, ideally within an agency environment.
* Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and delivering performance-driven creatives at scale.
* Strong understanding of the mobile app landscape and how creative strategy drives growth across paid social channels.
* Confident communicator and presenter: equally comfortable in a client boardroom or a team brainstorm.
* Deep understanding of creative testing frameworks and methodologies.
* Commercial acumen: experience managing budgets, scoping projects and contributing to revenue conversations.
* A natural leader with experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
* Highly organised and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
* Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of performance metrics and how to use data to inform creative decisions.


Nice To Have

* Experience across multiple app verticals, including gaming, fintech, health or subscription-based apps.
* Hands-on experience directing UGC or influencer-style ad content.
* Understanding of emerging platform features (TikTok, SparkAds, Meta Advantage+, YouTube Action campaigns)
