Fluid Lines Designer (Compact Wheel Loader) — Contract: Full-time, Temporary (6 months). Join a leading engineering team developing the next generation of compact wheel loaders. We’re looking for a skilled Fluid Lines Designer to create innovative solutions for hydraulic oil, engine coolant, and air conditioning systems in world-class mobile construction equipment.
What you’ll do
* Design and develop fluid line installations, including routing of hoses/tubes, adapter selection, and mounting arrangements.
* Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and cross-functional departments to deliver designs into production that meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
* Manage design changes through the full engineering life cycle.
* Communicate progress and technical details through reports and presentations.
What you’ll bring
* Strong 3D CAD skills in fluid line modelling (ideally CREO).
* Knowledge of geometric dimensioning/tolerancing and engineering data management (ideally Teamcenter).
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative, practical solutions.
* Experience converting customer needs into technical specifications.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* Understanding of structured product development processes.
