Facilities Operative (Retail Assistant/Out of Hours) - GUH
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team at the Grange University Hospital as a Facilities Operative working within Retail Services.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The hours are 22.75 per week to be worked 20:00 - 03:00 3-4 shifts per week
Main duties of the job
The post requires the post-holder to be flexible in the performance of their duties, within the Kitchen/Catering service. These duties could cover Main & Ward kitchens; Restaurant; Coffee Shop; and will include food preparation and service, cleaning; moving, storing and recording stock.
Previous experience would be an advantage, as would a current Food Hygiene qualification, although these are not necessary and full training will be provided for successful candidates.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Experience
* Experience of working in a customer focused environment
* Experience of undertaking a facilities role.
Knowledge & Training
* Good basic education
* Level 2 Food Safety or requirement to attain
* Willingness to undertake accredited & mandatory training relevant to the role
* Basic IT skills
* Spoken or written Welsh language
* NVQ level 1/2 in Facilities Services and/or Customer Services
