Job Overview
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Finance and Procurement Support Officer to assist the Finance and Procurement Team. The role involves processing and validating invoices for payment in line with policy, reconciling invoices with orders, raising debtor invoices and supporting the chasing of aged debt, overseeing and managing the pooled PPE system, and updating the Stores stock system.
Responsibilities
* Process and validate invoices for payment in line with policy.
* Reconcile invoices with orders.
* Raise debtor invoices and support chasing of aged debt.
* Oversee and manage the pooled PPE system.
* Update the Stores stock system.
Qualifications
* 3 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
* Previous experience in a commercial discipline such as Finance or Procurement.
* Customer-focused with the ability to advise others and communicate effectively internally within LFRS and externally with suppliers.
