Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Egham, Surrey £50,000 - £60,000 DOE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a highly respected engineering company specialising in advanced engineered systems and bespoke technical solutions supplied to customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer with strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience who enjoys technically challenging projects and full lifecycle engineering involvement. The Role You will be responsible for the design and delivery of complex mechanical system elements, supporting projects from concept through to manufacturing, testing, and final delivery. The role will involve: Mechanical design of assemblies and system components Hydraulic and pneumatic system design Producing GA drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs Supporting design reviews and continuous improvement activities Working closely with manufacturing, testing, suppliers, and project teams Supporting compliance with CE/UKCA and engineering standards Managing technical documentation and engineering deliverablesThere is also the opportunity to take ownership of projects as a Lead Engineer, coordinating timelines, technical stakeholders, and project delivery activities.
