Our client is a growing engineering business seeking a proactive Internal Sales Executive to help drive early‑stage sales activity within the food and drink sector. This role supports structured outbound business development and the generation of qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
* The identification and qualification of new sales leads within the food and drink sector.
* Conducting outbound activity via phone, email and LinkedIn.
* Researching prospective customers and gathering initial commercial information.
* Arranging introductory meetings with prospective customers.
* Maintaining accurate CRM and activity records.
Qualifications
* Experience in business development, internal sales or lead generation.
* Confidence with the ability to communicate professionally.
* Resilience, organisation and attention to detail.
* A positive, team‑oriented approach.
