Overview
Exciting opportunity to join a brand new long term housing partnership. You’ll play a key role in shaping the commercial success of the contract, leading an Assistant QS and working closely with operations to deliver real value for residents across Cambridgeshire.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure full entitlement is secured under the contract and through commercial negotiations.
* Work collaboratively with operational teams to meet or exceed financial targets.
* Act as a subject matter expert on contractual arrangements and schedules of rates.
* Maximise cash flow through effective invoicing and query resolution.
* Monitor and analyse project performance, providing data-driven insights.
* Support in the preparation of CVRs, CVCs, and management accounts.
* Manage sub-contractor agreements to align with contractual requirements.
* Identify and escalate potential disputes in a timely manner.
* Lead, support, and develop junior team members.
What we’re looking for
* Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
* Contract knowledge + negotiation experience
* Based in Cambridge, with travel across Cambridgeshire
