Job Summary:
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Core Portal team and build scalable backend services for an enterprise discovery application. You will design and develop robust APIs, integrate with search and knowledge graph platforms, and ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, AWS
Build and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs
Ensure code quality through testing, refactoring, and best practices
Own services end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, and production support
Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability
Contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and documentation
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders
Participate in on-call rotation as required
