The Role of a Maintenance Operative
The maintenance operative is responsible for domestic repairs and maintenance, minor projects within the site, and ensuring compliance for the smooth operation of the premises.
You will ensure that all parts of the environment are safe, welcoming, clean, hygienic, in good repair, and sensitive to the needs of the residents.
Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of record keeping, participating in quality audits, inspecting work from contractors, ensuring compliance with national regulations and inspection standards, managing your workload proactively, and liaising with the Regional Facilities Manager on projects.
You will also identify and implement projects to improve the facility's image, functionality, and efficiency, and manage grounds maintenance.
What you will bring
* Knowledge of building maintenance
* Experience with compliance and record keeping
* A trade background is preferred but not essential
