Our client has an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant/Administrator to join their professional services organisation. The role requires someone who is looking to be an integral part of the HR team, providing support with day-to-day duties and administration tasks. You will be the first point of contact on behalf of HR face to face, over the phone and by email.
You will be working in collaboration with the HR Manager and HR Advisor and other departments (including support functions) across the business as appropriate. The role is fully office based and part time.\n\nThe Role\n\nManage the HR administration task requests to ensure all administration tasks are actioned and completed.\n\nResponding and actioning enquiries promptly and triage or seek support if required.\n\nOrganise and lead inductions for new members of staff joining the company and arrange relevant training.\n\nContinuously be open to new ways to improve processes within the department and company.\n\nTo develop a good working knowledge of your processes and company policies.\n\nUndertaking any other reasonable duties and projects from time to time allocated to the team.\n\nBook training courses on request and manage employees on compliance courses.\n\nCollaborate with the Accounts team to ensure payment requirements or changes and pension changes are met for employees.\n\nRecord and update pension records, and work in partnership with the pension provider to ensure pension information is correct and relevant.\n\nKeep benefit records up to date with any changes such as leavers, starters, and benefit upgrades.\n\nProvide reports and information from HRIS for HR and managers on an adhoc basis. Such as compliance completion reports.\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious HR experience – ideally qualified to CIPD Level 3\n\n * Well developed communication, organisational and team working skills\n\n * Ability to be assertive\n\n * Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative\n\n * Good Microsoft Office skills\n\n * Have strong administration skills and real attention to detail\n\nDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
