Job Title: Head of Sales
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

Role Overview
The Head of Sales (HOS) oversees all aspects of sales and business development, including service delivery, customer relationship management, and business growth with designated accounts. The primary focus is to develop sales aligned with budget targets, expand and strengthen the customer base through improved relationships, and identify new opportunities with existing and potential clients. The HOS will also be responsible for implementing best practices within the sales function, including the adoption of CRM and other IT tools to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop sales revenue in line with budget requirements.
2. Identify and secure new business opportunities.
3. Manage customer relationships to retain and grow contracts.
4. Manage cash flow and reduce overdue customer debts within budget.
5. Gather market intelligence on competitors and pricing levels.
6. Promote continuous improvement within the sales team.
Key Requirements
1. Proven success in a technical sales environment.
2. Educational background in engineering and/or renewable energy.
3. Experience managing both short and long sales cycles.
4. Previous experience leading a sales team.
