Are you an experienced Delivery Manager seeking your next challenge? We are looking for a talented Delivery Manager with a proven track record of working with GDS standards in the public sector. You will have the opportunity to lead high-impact projects, champion best practice governance, and play a pivotal role in shaping innovative digital services that make a real difference to society.
In this role, you'll manage and run projects using Scrum methodology, facilitating key ceremonies and guiding teams to use the most appropriate agile tools. Your deep understanding of GDS standards and the government service manual will be essential in enforcing quality, ensuring compliance, and delivering services that meet rigorous public sector requirements.
Some of your responsibilities:
* Design and implement custom delivery approaches, facilitating decision making and overcoming blockers to ensure best fit solutions
* Apply and enforce best practice governance and quality standards, including GDS/public sector service standards and government service manual
* Coach teams to continuously improve, building motivated and collaborative project environments
* Facilitate end-to-end workflow definition, supporting the delivery with the most effective methodologies
* Manage client relationships, understanding their business and market, and strategically incorporating their goals into our work
* Lead reporting, define key metrics, and deliver transparent updates to clients and stakeholders
* Manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the below:
* Experience using Jira, Confluence as a ScrumMaster or Delivery Manager
* A passion for strategic and user centred approaches to unpack problems, and validate the solutions
* Working knowledge of government service standards and service manual
* Agile delivery management, experience working in multi-disciplinary product / service teams
* Broad understanding of digital technologies and contribute to the strategic delivery approach
* Tell confident and compelling stories about our craft, expertise, experience and client engagements
