Job Title: Senior BAU Operations Analyst
Location: London
Role Purpose
The Senior BAU Operations Analyst supports the daily operational execution of the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. Under the direction of the Operations Lead, the role manages complex exceptions, engages with Technology and Compliance, and drives operational improvements across MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR, and REMIT, to ensure accurate, timely submissions and strengthen the firm’s reporting control framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily BAU exception management across all regulatory regimes.
* Lead root‑cause analysis and coordinate medium/long‑term fixes.
* Own BAU procedures, workflows, training materials, and documentation.
* Support onboarding/migration of new BAU processes into TTR Ops.
* Deliver MI, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting insights for management.
* Participate in regulatory change initiatives and UAT cycles.
* Mentor junior analysts and strengthen operational resilience.
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in regulatory reporting operations (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, REMIT).
* Prior experience managing exceptions in a reporting or control environment.
* Familiarity with vendor platforms such as UnaVista, DTCC, TradeEcho, Markit.
* Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and cross‑functional communication.
* Strong organisational discipline and ability to prioritise under pressure.
Technical Skills
* Excel (intermediate/advanced), Word, PowerPoint.
* Understanding of front‑to‑back data flows and operational controls.
