Pay rate – £36 per hour Contract – Temporary Lancashire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Family Safeguarding team based in Burnley. An experienced social worker, who has experience of working with children and families under various plans such as Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings. Some experience of Adoption is desirable but not essential. The social worker will be expected to be office based 3 times a week and be able to respond to any duties relating to their own caseload should they work from home. Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
