Resident Liaison Officer – External Wall Remediation (Occupied Buildings) Location: London Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum (DOE) mileage Type: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a proactive and professional Resident Liaison Officer to support a portfolio of occupied fire safety remediation projects across London. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth communication between residents and the project delivery team on sensitive, live construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with tenants or leaseholders during refurbishment or cladding replacement works, and will be confident handling queries, coordinating access, and maintaining resident trust throughout the programme. Responsibilities: * Act as the primary point of contact for residents during all stages of the works * Deliver clear and timely communication regarding project timelines, access arrangements, and potential disruptions * Coordinate appointments and access between residents and site teams * Respond to and resolve complaints or concerns promptly and professionally * Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, access issues, and resolution tracking * Support site teams by feeding back relevant resident updates or patterns of concern * Attend resident meetings, site briefings, and handover sessions as required Requirements: * Previous experience in a Resident Liaison, Tenant Engagement, or Customer Service role within construction or social housing * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and professional in sensitive situations * Experience working on live, occupied sites – ideally cladding, EWI, or refurbishment programmes * Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites in London Desirable: * Understanding of fire remediation projects and external wall system upgrades * Background working with housing associations, councils, or main contractors delivering refurbishment schemes This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering essential life-safety upgrades across the capital.
