Job Overview An established manufacturing operation is currently seeking skilled MIG/MAG Welders to support ongoing fabrication and assembly work. This position is ideal for experienced welders who are confident working from engineering drawings and producing consistently high-quality work within a production environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform MIG/MAG welding on mild steel components ranging from 1.5mm to 15mm in thickness * Weld in a variety of positions to specified quality standards * Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Produce components on a right-first-time basis * Identify and escalate any non-conformances to the relevant supervisor * Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the work area * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Essential Requirements Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication or be time-served in a similar role Demonstrable experience in MIG/MAG welding across a range of material thicknesses Ability to read and understand technical and engineering drawings Previous experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment is desirable Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach to work Willingness to learn and undertake a variety of tasks as required Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work effectively as part of a team while meeting cu...
