ECT Teacher Primary – Location: Swindon, SN5. Start Date: September.
A welcoming and supportive primary school in the SN5 area is seeking a motivated ECT to join their team from the start of the new academic year in September.
About The Role
As an ECT, you will take on full class teaching responsibilities while receiving guidance from experienced staff and a dedicated mentor. You will follow the Early Career Framework (ECF) to support your development and build a strong foundation for your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform next steps in learning.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
* Work closely with a mentor and participate in professional development activities.
* Follow the school's safeguarding and child protection policies.
Requirements
* A passionate and enthusiastic qualified teacher with QTS (or pending QTS).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A reflective practitioner eager to learn and grow.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
