Opportunity for Excavator Operators (Sizewell B) working with Flannery on the Sizewell B Site,
Main Duties :
* Safely operate excavators to perform a variety of tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and loading materials.
* Use GPS machine control systems if required for precision grading or excavation.
* Follow site plans and blueprints to complete tasks according to specifications.
* Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of the excavator, including checking fluids, tires/tracks, lights, and safety equipment.
* Report mechanical issues or damage promptly and ensure equipment is repaired as needed.
* Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications/Experience :
* Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Excavators.
* Experience operating excavators on construction, groundwork, or civil engineering projects.
* Proven ability to handle excavators of various sizes and types, including those with specialized attachments like breakers, grapples, or rippers.
