The Role
:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the room's operational quality, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment for children.
They are looking for both Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Educator.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and guide staff, enhancing the educational quality within the room.
2. Maintain visibility in the room to ensure safety and engagement.
3. Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, addressing the unique needs and interests of each child.
4. Collaborate with external agencies to enhance educational practices and child development.
5. Assist in training and developing both new and existing staff members.
6. Foster strong relationships with parents to support the children’s daily needs and developmental goals.
7. Uphold the nursery’s standards in safety, hygiene, and confidentiality.
Requirements:
8. Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role.
9. Possess Level 2 / Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
10. Background working with children.
11. Hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
12. Familiarity with child development and children’s need.
13. Enhanced DBS check.
14. Understanding of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding, Childcare Act would be desirable.
