* Plan and deliver high-quality Technology lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages.
* Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.
* Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and practical learning.
* Support students in developing design, problem-solving, and technical skills through hands-on projects.
* Contribute to the development of the Technology curriculum and departmental resources.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour in line with school policies.
* Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing.

Person Specification
Essential
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Technology at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Technology education.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Desirable
* Experience teaching Design and Technology across multiple specialisms.
* Knowledge of GCSE or equivalent examination specifications.
* Experience contributing to extracurricular activities or STEM initiatives.
