Transport Coordinator (Temp-to-Perm)

Shift Pattern: Afternoon/Evening (2pm - 11pm)
Salary: £14.95ph

The Role of Transport Coordinator:
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be the backbone of the logistics operations during the key afternoon and evening period. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and scheduling transportation and deliveries.
Updating and maintaining accurate records in our logistics management system.
Communicating effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Processing shipping and freight documentation.
Monitoring shipment progress and resolving any arising issues.
Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Shift Pattern & Hours:
This role is based on a fixed afternoon/evening shift: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
To ensure full team support, there is also a requirement to occasionally cover the night shift (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) to cover for holidays and sickness.
Important Induction Notice:
To ensure you receive the best possible training and integration into the team, the first two weeks of your assignment will be spent working on the night shift (22:00 - 07:00) for your comprehensive induction.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
An excellent communicator with strong administrative skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Keen to learn and build a long-term career in logistics.
