We have an exciting opportunity for a SPAR Customer Team Member. As a Customer Team Member at SPAR Bettws, you will support our store management team and help create a positive customer experience. Your role involves maximising sales and profit by completing assigned tasks, ensuring excellent customer service through ‘Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food for Later, and Food for Now!’
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
* Processing purchases accurately and efficiently at the tills.
* Upselling products and highlighting special offers.
Store Operations:
* Checking deliveries, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
* Completing tasks such as date checking, stock checks, price updates, and promotional displays.
* Following all company policies and procedures.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
* Previous retail experience preferred.
* Reliable with good attention to detail.
* Understanding of retail legislation and compliance.
* Ability to contribute ideas for customer service and business growth.
* Experience with ‘Challenge 25’ policy is desirable.
* Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.
* Cash handling experience is a plus but not essential.
