We are working closely with a top-tier national law firm in Belfast that is keen to speak with corporate or commercial solicitors who are interested in specialising in energy and renewables work.
The Role:
You will join a highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure practice, advising on a broad range of matters including, energy and renewables M&A, JVs, investments and project development, and commercial contracts across the energy lifecycle.
The team works closely with funds, developers, utilities and investors across renewable technologies, positioning this practice as the natural successor to traditional mid-market M&A. This is a standout opportunity to pivot into one of the fastest-growing areas of the legal market, advising on complex, high-value transactions at the forefront of the UK and Ireland’s energy transition.
Essential Criteria:
* Qualified solicitor (NI, England & Wales, or Ireland);
* 0–6 years’ PQE;
* Background in corporate, commercial, or projects work;
* Strong interest in specialising in energy / renewables;
* Technically excellent;
* Previous energy experience is welcome but not essential.
