We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary in Chichester. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities. Your Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with SEN in accessing the curriculum Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment Assisting with the development of personalised learning plans Helping to manage behaviour positively and effectively Working collaboratively with the wider school team and external professionals What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine interest in education and inclusion Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are beneficial What We Offer: A supportive and friendly school community Ongoing professional development and training Opportunities to progress within the school or wider trust A rewarding role where no two days are the same!
