We have an exciting new opportunity for a Support Worker within our Morecambe learning disability services. Our tenants have a variety of interests and hobbies, including volunteering, walking, and even membership in the Rollercoaster Association!
As part of our dedicated staff team, you will provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Your role will involve helping our service users enjoy a high quality of life by participating in various activities they love, both at home and in the community.
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues, families, and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service. You will provide respectful personal care and offer practical and emotional support, developing and maintaining warm and trusting relationships with service users. Flexibility is key, as you will work shifts over the weekend and bank holidays, with both day and waking night shifts available.
