Learning Tutor


Ivy Lane Primary School

Salary range: F9-F11 - £27,254-£28,598 FTE

Actual Salary: £124,816-£15,547 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Part-time

Working hours: 24 hours per week, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8.15am to 12noon plus 1pm – 3.15pm

Closing date: 12noon on Monday, 8th June 2026

Job Summary

We are looking to appoint a confident and adaptable Learning Tutor to cover classes across the school in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role involves working closely with teachers to support planning, preparation, and delivery of learning, as well as providing feedback and maintaining accurate pupil records, including marking and attendance registers. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school by participating in relevant curriculum, organisational, and pastoral meetings. Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire and is part of the Pickwick Academy Trust. We also have our on-site Sunflowers Nursery which accepts children from the age of 3 years old.
