We're partnering with a growing technology solutions provider in Peterborough that is looking for an ambitious Lead Generator to support their sales team by identifying new business opportunities and opening doors with potential customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, and creating opportunities that directly contribute to business growth.

Location: Peterborough
Salary: Negotiable DOE + Bonus
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Office Based)

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging with prospective customers and identifying organisations that could benefit from the company's products and services.

Your Day-to-Day

1. Research and identify potential customers across a range of industries.
2. Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
3. Identify companies currently purchasing or using PSU products.
4. Understand customer requirements and business operations.
5. Qualify opportunities and gather valuable market intelligence.
6. Book appointments and generate sales opportunities for the Account Management team.
7. Maintain accurate records and activity updates within the CRM system.
8. Follow up on previous conversations and nurture prospective customers.
9. Work closely with the sales team to ensure opportunities are handed over effectively.
10. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity.

What Success Looks Like

You'll be expected to:

11. Consistently engage with businesses to identify purchasing requirements and opportunities.
12. Generate a minimum of 1 Class A qualified lead per day.
13. Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking.
14. Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects for the sales team.

What We're Looking For

15. Previous experience in Lead Generation, Telesales, Internal Sales, Business Development, Appointment Setting, or a customer-facing sales role.
16. Confident and professional telephone manner.
17. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
18. Ability to engage decision-makers and uncover business opportunities.
19. Organised with excellent attention to detail.
20. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
21. A positive attitude and strong desire to succeed.
