Role Responsibilities
15. Provide support in a way that is respectful, promotes dignity and independence
16. Provide support in any location appropriate to meet the needs of the people we support
17. Communicating with the people you support using appropriate communication methods Assisting with individuals’ care, including personal care
18. Participating in the development and implementation of support plans
19. Assisting the people we support with household activities
20. Ordering, receiving, storing, and administering medication to the people you support
21. Participating, planning, and running of the day-to-day events of the service
22. Recording and completing any appropriate documentation
Role Requirements
23. Excellent communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills, as you will be supporting people who use various methods of communication
24. Knowledge/experience/desire to support individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Challenging Behaviour is essential
25. Good basic comprehension of English language including basic literacy and numerical skills i.e., GCSE level or equivalent
26. Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training
27. Undertake delegated supervisory management responsibilities and provide leadership to less experienced staff to ensure the development of best care practice and optimal outcomes for clients
28. Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 or substantial experience of working in a similar environment
