Managing the site environment, health and safety systems. To provide specialist advice and assistance to management relating to all aspects of Environment, Health Safety to ensure compliance with legal requirements, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management systems and to minimise risks for all employees, visitors and third parties who could be affected by the activities of the Company.The Role: - Providing specialist advice on all aspects relating to health, safety and environmental legislation. - Promoting Health Safety and Environmental awareness throughout the Company. - Managing of the COSHH/risk assessment and risk reduction programs - Providing EHS advice/support in relation to new plant equipment/workplace organisation - Managing the EHS process confirmation audit program - Facilitating external auditors for compliance to OHSAS18001 ISO14001 management systems - Managing internal operational system EHS quarterly audits. - Assisting management in devising and implementing both proactive and reactive monitoring systems. - Maintain records for statutory reports, management information and examination by the enforcing agencies.You will ideally have: - NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent - IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalentKnowledge of: - Aerospace or Automotive - EHS legislation - Risk assessments - Accident investigation - Manufacturing processes - EHS Management SystemsCompany Information: This position is for one of the world\\\'s largest independent first tier suppliers to the global aviation industry.
