Main Purpose of Job Role:
* The role of Support Worker at 123 is central in nurturing and supporting our young people on their path to interdependence.
* As their primary source of guidance and support, you will interact with our young people daily, contributing to a role that is both varied and demanding.
Responsibilities:
* Encouraging personal development.
* Ensuring safety.
* Upholding 123's code of conduct and values.
* Collaborate with the Deputy Service Manager, Manager and Team leader to ensure the smooth operation of the home, promoting a safe and caring environment for all young people.
* Assist in providing guidance, and emotional support to the young people.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment within the home, promoting a sense of belonging and empowerment for the young people.
* Participate in team meetings and discussions to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
* Promote the involvement of young people in decision-making processes, actively encouraging their participation and listening to their perspectives.
Requirements:
* Have or be willing to work toward Diploma Level 3/4 in Children, Young People, and Families practitioner or equivalent.
* A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people.
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis.

Qualifications
* Driving Licence
Minimum requirements:
* 1 Night shift per week 8pm-8am (sleep 12pm-7am)
* 1 Saturday night shift in a 6 week rota
* Mandatory attendance at monthly 2 hour Team Meeting (3rd Wednesday of every month)
* 4 - 6 weekly Mandatory Supervision session
