Anderson Knight Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a growing business based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced HR Adviser on a permanent basis.
This role will suit a confident, self-sufficient HR professional who is comfortable operating with autonomy, managing their own workload, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business.
The Role
The HR Adviser will provide comprehensive, hands-on HR support across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert advice on a full range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
* Acting as a confident point of contact for managers, offering pragmatic and commercially focused HR guidance
* Supporting and advising on organisational change and transformation activity
* Assisting with recruitment, on boarding and induction processes
* Supporting HR projects, policy development and process improvement initiatives
* Ensuring HR practices are compliant with current UK employment legislation
* Managing HR activity independently while contributing positively to the wider HR team
About You
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Adviser role
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident, proactive and able to work autonomously
* Comfortable advising and challenging managers at all levels
* CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
What’s on Offer
* Salary of £38,000 – £42,000
