Your new company
Our client are a specialist facilities service provider who deliver services to a commercial portfolio spanning the UK. They are hiring a Delivery Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to take ownership of a team to deliver maintenance services to a portfolio of sites of specialist housing (not social housing or care homes) around London & Kent.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the repairs service, including out-of-hours support and subcontractor performance, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will oversee budgets, drive efficiencies, and proactively implement business improvements, all while maintaining an exceptional standard of service.
With full accountability for operational management, you will monitor performance indicators, analyse trends, and take corrective action to continuously enhance service delivery. You will also be responsible for creating reports and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will create a positive and supportive working environment where individuals are motivated, developed, and empowered to succeed. You will also ensure the effective management of complex reactive repairs and voids maintenance, engage with customers transparently, and drive improvements through strong stakeholder collaboration.
Additionally, you will undertake the necessary training to become the Responsible Person for Legionella and asbestos compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience as a supervisor or manager in a maintenance and repair services function. You will also require:
* Housing association or housing maintenance experience
* Team supervisory or leadership experience
* Relevant qualifications desirable however not essential
* Full UK driving license
