Job Description Inspector Full time, on-site Bristol Bristol Works C As an Inspector you would be joining our Bristol team and will have the opportunity to inspect and determine acceptance of components during the Manufacturing of casings and blades to support Engine build and Customer spares. These need to be compliant with Rolls Royce specifications. You will perform & support inspections checks during the manufacturing process, ensure that all casing and sub detail parts adhere to the documentation and are accurately completed. You will work in accordance with Rolls Royce Management system, approved manufacturing drawings and technical data. Responsibilities You’ll be inspecting complex aerospace products, using varied inspection techniques to evaluate products to tight technical specifications. Verify documentation and physical completion of Inspection task completed. Record discrepancies and communicates appropriately Perform inspections on casings, blades and sub assembly detail parts. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with control processes. (RRMS) Perform "self-audits" of internal quality systems, and audits at the request of the customer/ project Determine the serviceability of engine parts, and components using CMM, precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices Assist Manufacturing Engineers in proper work procedures and practices and monitors work in progress and ensures that work performed is accurately completed to the RRMS standards Maintain Control boards, WIP tracking, Assets Care and 5s processes as well as maintain, monitors and controls departmental calibration lists and tooling.
