What you'll do
* Provide strategic and operational clinical leadership as Medical Director.
* Oversee medical workforce planning, appraisals, revalidation and practising privileges.
* Lead clinical governance, investigations, incident/complaint reviews and crisis management.
* Ensure safe, effective medical cover (including out-of-hours arrangements).
* Maintain your own clinical caseload within a private addictions service.
* Represent the service with commissioners, partners and stakeholders.
What you'll bring
* MRCPsych (or equivalent), CCT (or equivalent), Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status.
* Listed on the GMC specialist register in Psychiatry.
* Minimum three years at Consultant level with evidence of MDT leadership.
* Experience in Addictions and General Adult Psychiatry; values-based, evidence-led practice.
* Leadership/management training or willingness to undertake it.
