Senior Quantity Surveyor Bridgend Permanent salary benefits package We are looking to speak with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor delivering civil engineering infrastructure works. While this role is currently a lower immediate priority, we are keen to engage with suitable candidates for upcoming requirements. This opportunity would also suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step up into a Senior role. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of civil engineering projects, supporting project delivery teams and ensuring strong cost control, contract compliance, and commercial performance across schemes. Key Responsibilities * Commercial and contractual management of civil engineering projects * Preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and CVRs * Administration of NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and change control * Procurement and management of subcontract packages * Valuations, applications for payment, and final account negotiation * Risk and opportunity management * Working closely with project managers and site teams to maintain commercial control * Reporting to senior commercial management Candidate Requirements * 8–10 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role * Strong contractor background * Proven experience working on civils, highways, or rail projects (essential) * NEC4 contract experience (essential) * Strong commercial and contractual knowledge * Ability to work from either Cardiff or Bridgend offices, with site visits as required * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Long-term opportunity with a reputable infrastructure contractor * Supportive environment with progression opportunities * Flexible consideration for QSs ready to step up If you are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor—or a strong Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step—and would like to explore future opportunities, we would be keen to speak with you
