Our client is looking for someone who is well established as a senior finance professional or one that is looking to move into their first Finance Director role.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the accounting and financial operations function and work closely with our external accounting partners to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and approve month-end close, payroll, balance sheet control, annual audit prep, and reporting.
* Build metrics dashboards and budgets for the group.
* Provide strategic insights to improve operational performance.
* Drive improvements in finance systems and processes as part of ongoing transformation projects.
Essential Background:
* Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA having held senior roles previoiusly.
* Expertise includes funding, treasury, tax, FP&A and finance transformation incorporating systems, digital integrations and insight led reporting.
* Charities experience would be an advantage but not essential.
* Experience of transforming finance functions and systems.
* Experience working within charitable enviornments.
* Strong understanding of VAT, and audit processes
* Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills
* Stakeholder management and communication skills
