We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Technical Programme Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping our digital future. The Role: We are on the lookout for an experienced Technical Programme Manager who has a strong foundation in software development and a passion for managing digital projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise from both the tech and agency worlds, having worked in digital agencies and developed consumer-facing digital products. You will oversee complex software products and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll use your technical experience to guide teams in defining solutions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and navigate the complexities of digital product delivery across scope, time, and budget. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, helping teams stay focused, perform at their best, and maintain a forward-thinking approach to working processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage Product Roadmaps: Oversee and drive the roadmap for complex software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs. Agile Leadership: Work with project managers to ensure agile ceremonies are well-managed and projects are delivered efficiently. Project Reporting & Controls: Implement project reporting and controls to track progress, measure delivery status, and escalate issues as needed. Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment. Multi-Stream Programme Oversight: Manage multiple concurrent work streams, helping teams deliver with a focus on quality and consistency. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing team efficiency, and driving quality in product delivery. Support Product & Technical Teams: Help product management teams capture and document requirements, and support technical leads in finding optimal solutions to challenges. Requirements: Digital Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing digital products from start to finish. Experience with CMS or SSO software solutions is a plus. Software Engineering Background: At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer (frontend, backend, or full-stack) with solid knowledge of software architecture and development patterns. Tool Proficiency: Experience using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence, or similar project management tools. Agile & Delivery Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of measuring team velocity, tracking project scope, and identifying areas for process improvements. Requirements Writing: Ability to write clear and actionable user stories, with an understanding of what makes great requirements. Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong focus on solutions, with the ability to adapt to challenges and lead teams to success.
