Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in cryogenics, or a PhD in low temperature physics with some hands-on involvement in low-temperature systems? If cryogenic engineering sounds familiar to you, we're eager to connect.
We offer a position where your knowledge of cryogenic systems will be enriched, you'll receive training in the mechanical design essential for creating top-tier products, and your expertise will broaden across various fields, including superconducting magnets and measurement technologies.
Working in multi-disciplinary teams, your responsibilities will encompass engineering projects from their initiation to completion. By ensuring products align with client requirements, identifying potential risks, delivering comprehensive documentation, and working on future product enhancements, your role will be key in fostering innovation to produce outstanding outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you'll either have practical academic experience in a low-temperature discipline or demonstrated mechanical design experience in the industry, preferably with exposure to cryogenics.
In addition to a competitive starting salary, Oxford Instruments offers flexible working hours and a half-day on Fridays. We also offer 25 days of annual leave, private healthcare, a defined contribution Group Personal Pension Plan, and a flexible benefits package that you can tailor to your own requirements.
