Caretaker – Haymarket Block Management (Part of the X1 Group)Location: SalfordHours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm Monday - FridayFull-Time | Permanent | £12.71 per hourHaymarket Block Management, proudly part of the X1 Group, is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of one of our flagship residential estates.About the Role:As a key member of our Estates Team, you will ensure the buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
* General maintenance and minor repair work
* Painting and touch-ups to maintain internal and external appearance
* Small grounds work, such as sweeping and light landscaping
* Bin store management to ensure hygiene and accessibility
* Parcel management for residents
* Maintaining the aesthetics of communal areas
* Weekly fire safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
What We’re Looking For:
* A proactive and hands-on approach
* Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
* Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
* Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential
* A friendly, approachable manner – you’ll be a familiar and trusted face around the estates
